Applications are being accepted for the 2025 Secondary Education Credit Recovery and Remedial Summer School. The days required for staff are June 30 to July 31. The hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Set up/PD days will be June 25th-26th.
Summer School Program grades 9-12 at Washington Academy and High School for secondary students (Credit Recovery).
The following certified positions are needed:
English/Language Arts Teacher - Grades 9 - 12
Due to the limited number of positions for this year’s program the following criteria will be used to screen applicants for interviews.
- Internal applicants with prior experience
- Applicants who worked in the Summer 2024 program
- Applicants who are certificated/experienced in specific assignments applying for.
- Applicants who are available for the entire program 6/30/25 - 7/31/25
Applicants will receive a link to a Google Form that will be used for applicants to indicate their preferred position. Preference will be given to those individuals that have had previous successful experience in the program. Positions may be changed or altered based upon enrollment and staff availability.
