**Job Summary:**
As a Electric Field Manager at J&J Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electric, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our Electric department. While maintaining hands-on involvement in the field alongside our technicians, you will also focus on expanding the department's capabilities, particularly in the realm of residential electric work. Your expertise and leadership will drive the team's performance, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Technical Leadership:** Lead by example, actively participating in electric and serving as a mentor and technical resource for the team.
2. **Department Growth:** Develop and implement strategies to expand the electric department's services, focusing on drain work, and explore new opportunities for business growth.
3. **Team Management:** Recruit, train, and manage a team of skilled Electrics and technicians. Monitor performance, provide feedback, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
4. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that all electric work adheres to the highest industry standards, codes, and regulations, and meets the company's quality benchmarks.
5. **Customer Satisfaction:** Foster a customer-centric approach, emphasizing timely service, effective problem resolution, and outstanding communication with clients.
6. **Inventory and Resource Management:** Manage inventory, equipment, and resources efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
7. **Budget and Cost Control:** Assist in budgeting for the plumbing department and work diligently to control costs while maintaining high-quality services.
8. **Compliance and Safety:** Ensure that all employees adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and legal requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a electrician.
