Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various tasks and learning essential skills necessary for a successful career in electrical work.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting using voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
- Support the team in low voltage and high voltage installations as needed.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical systems; prior experience or coursework in electrical work is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems; experience with high voltage systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety practices.
- Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
