Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice to join our team we are a licensed electrical/hvac team that specializes in commercial spaces. We need someone who is a hard worker that shows up on time and wants to become a journeyman electrician. The Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced techs, assisting in various tasks. During first 180 days as completed training/certs are completed, successful candidates will receive bumps in pay.
Duties
- Assist electricians with a variety of electrical installations, maintenance, and service-based projects under direct supervision.
- Support routine inspections, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems including lighting, outlets, panels, and wiring.
- Help with setup and teardown of tools, ladders, materials, and equipment needed for daily tasks and jobsite operations.
- Learn to identify and report electrical hazards, code violations, or potential system issues to supervising electrician.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and company vehicle, following proper safety and storage procedures for electrical tools and materials.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and be trained on electrical systems, tools, safety practices (including lockout/tagout), and proper installation procedures.
- Follow instructions and apply feedback from journeyman electricians and forepersons to improve technical skills and work quality.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings with guidance from supervising electricians.
- Accurately document work performed, including wiring changes, material usage, and inspection notes, as directed by the lead electrician.
- Adhere to all electrical safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies while working on active jobsites.
- Travel to multiple job sites daily using company-provided transportation when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting other trades or assisting with general labor when needed.
Experience
- Background knowledge or previous experience in electrical work is preferred.
- Electrician Trade School or equivalent training is strongly preferred.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career as a commercial electrician.
- Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
