Job Summary
Are you a passionate, creative educator who loves inspiring young artists? Ability School is seeking a part-time Art Teacher to lead engaging and age-appropriate art classes for students in Pre-K through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach approximately 5 art classes per week across a range of grade levels (Pre-K–8)
- Develop and deliver creative lesson plans aligned with student abilities and interests
- Foster a fun, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Coordinate with classroom teachers on cross-curricular projects when applicable
- Prepare and showcase student artwork for school displays and special events
Requirements:
- Prior teaching experience with children preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, organized, and reliable
Schedule:
- 1–2 weekdays per week (flexible based on candidate availability)
