Teacher Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to grade level curriculum, with special attention to Catholic-based and arts integration learning experiences.
- Provide instruction to elementary students in core subjects such as English, mathematics, science, and social studies.
- Foster a positive, caring, and empathetic classroom environment where students feel supported and valued.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Incorporate social-emotional learning strategies into daily instruction to promote students' holistic development.
- Utilize scaffolding and differentiation techniques to meet the diverse learning needs of students in small class sizes.
- Implement a variety of assessment methods to measure student progress and inform instructional decisions.
- Engage students through innovative teaching practices and interactive learning experiences.
- Communicate often with parents and families about student progress, celebration and areas of support.
Teacher Qualifications:
- Required Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Applicants with associate’s or alternative degrees will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and caring demeanor while interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in scaffolding and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment and engagement strategies.
- Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position for an elementary grade level classroom.
- Saint Joseph School Inc. is an independent institution and operates separately from the Diocese of Green Bay, while maintaining the tradition of Catholic education.
