We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. at Le Monde International Schoo. We are a Pre K to 8th grade State of Oklahoma public charter school in Norman, Oklahoma. We are a language immersion school where children learn French or Spanish alongside English while adhering to all Oklahoma standards. The ideal candidate will not only be bilingual in Spanish and English or even trilingual with French. The candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves educating students in various subjects, implementing effective teaching strategies, and supporting the overall development of each child. The Elementary School Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and social skills of students while promoting a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students in core subjects such as Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to promote community involvement.

- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; certification in Elementary Education preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- A passion for educating young minds and fostering a love for learning.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
