Orion Security Solutions (OSS) is seeking a qualified technical security technician for a full-time Embedded Security Technician position to be based in Oklahoma City, OK. The purpose of an Embedded Security Technician is to serve as an on-site lead, for programming and troubleshooting Lenel OnGuard and Genetec Security Center Omnicast, while effectively and efficiently monitoring the daily operations and service of security solutions for our customers. This position requires effective communication and time management skills to operate as the main point of contact between the customer and OSS.
Minimum Education
- High school or GED
Minimum Experience:
Requires 4+ years of:
- Relevant low voltage and/or security field experience (relevant experience can include supervisory roles,
- Access Control, Video, and Intrusion Detection System installation,
- System design, and/or other low voltage system and component installation)
- Must have experience and certification in Lenel OnGuard.
- Must have experience and certification in Genetec Security center Omnicast.
Desired Skill Set
Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and plans, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), proficiency with G Suite applications and Microsoft Office programs (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook), programming and operational proficiency with Lenel OnGuard, Genetec Security Center Omnicast as well with access control power supplies, electrified door hardware, Hanwah cameras, effective organizational skills, professional conflict resolution skills, working knowledge of cable infrastructure, and other skills that would assist in effectively fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
Areas of Responsibility
- Provide day-to-day service and management of on-site customer needs.
- Maintain transparency with respect to customer status, needs, expectations, and details.
- Provide on-call system service and maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate with the customer to ensure the relationship stays strong and the scope of work is properly managed.
- Ensure safety requirements are followed and any incidents are reported.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned or required based on the needs of OSS.

- Customer Headquarters in Oklahoma City -100% local.
