Cape Fox Mountain Point is accepting resumes for a dedicated and energetic Engineering Intern for the 2025-2026 school year. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Intern will assist in various critical tasks in solving infrastructure challenges critical to environmental, economic and national security viability. The Engineering Intern will provide part-time 10 – 15 hours per week support during the fall and spring semesters with the possibility of a full-time summer internship.
Fall and spring internship will be performed in Atlanta; the summer internship will be based in Savannah.
The Engineering Internship is a great opportunity for a conscientious and eager Engineering student to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations and make a meaningful impact on critical infrastructure projects. In addition, the Internship provides early career experience and visibility for future post-graduate employment opportunities.
Primary work will be supporting construction efforts on U.S. Government contracts at military installations. Administrative support typically works in a variety of settings, including offices, facilities or construction sites.
Duties:
- Assist in project planning and execution.
- Assist in reading plans and specs for contract requirements
- Attend weekly TEAMs meetings for project reviews, assignments & deliverables
- Conduct research and analysis; compile data into comprehensive reports.
- Assist with filing, document control, and maintaining project records.
- Assist with critical submittal requirements
- Complete required training during internship
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Engineering or Physics
- Availability to commit to a fall and spring internship
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and keen to take initiative
- Desire for career development
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with others at all levels of the organization
- Computer skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
