Job Description
As an engineering technician you will be applying your skills to design and build manufacturing jigs, troubleshoot production issues, document changes, and assist with repairs and new product testing. You will also be called upon to answer engineering related questions for sales opportunities, and interface between engineering, production, sales, and technical support as needed. This position will report to the head engineer at the facility. Applicants should have an associate degree in math, sciences, or engineering technology as well as the ability to understand technical documents.

- In depth understanding of electrical principles
- Use of a DMM and oscilloscope
- Power consumption analysis
- Circuit board fundamentals
- Good mechanical aptitude comfortable using tools
- Adept with computers
- Attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Personal discipline to work without direct supervision
- Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be a US citizen
Desired Additional Skills
electronics design. DC solar power systems, coding skills, familiarity with industrial standards (NEMA, ISO, etc.), previous manufacturing experience

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
