Enterprise Application Administrator Objective:
Responsible for ensuring digital transformation operations are operational/operating satisfactorily and ensuring security around highly sensitive PII, HIPPA, and CJIS classified data. This role maintains a suite of custom developed client/server and web-based enterprise class applications including interaction with SQL databases for application configuration and troubleshooting.
Core software responsibilities include management of MS Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, SQL server, Office 365, and Active Directory. Core technology equipment includes digitizing (or scanning equipment), desktop/laptop devices, monitors, printers (including multi-function printers), and IP phones. This position will maintain authorized users’ physical and logical access to the Tallahassee location’s facility and technology network.
Most Important Position Priorities and/or Goals
- Maintain operation of core web-based and client/server enterprise applications
- Utilize SQL databases, including query tables, to troubleshoot application issues as required.
- Performs problem solving and technology support for the company’s production and desktop operation software applications, hardware devices, and peripherals. Problem solving includes basic troubleshooting and resolution of general system hardware, software, and network failures
- Responsible for the physical and logical security around sensitive PII, HIPPA, and CJIS content
Key Position Responsibilities
- Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies
- Performs routine technical assistance and scheduled or planned maintenance duties
- Support tracking inventory levels of technology equipment, materials, and supplies
- Maintains physical and network access including documenting, as defined by the company’s standard IT practices, the creation and removal of accounts and facility access badges
- Supports the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and impact
- Supports the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices
- Works with external vendors to procure parts and services to maintain equipment serviceability
- Maintains required knowledge with respect to the applicable technology, equipment, software applications, including security and privacy laws, regulations, and standards, and support practices
Experience and Education
- 12 months of experience working with SQL databases supporting enterprise applications required
- 12 months of experience in supporting enterprise class web-based applications required
- 12 months of experience working in a customer facing support role required
- Experience managing users and computers in a Microsoft Active Directory environment required
- Experience installing/troubleshooting desktop/laptop/peripheral devices preferred
- Experience in administrating Microsoft Office 365 preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in SQL database administration with ability to write SELECT, UDPATE, and INSERT SQL statements to configure applications or troubleshoot
- Intermediate working knowledge of client/server application
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Ability to document technical resolutions in an incident tracking system
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of focus
- Ability to analyze and resolve basic computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of PC and/or applications and systems.

Environmental Factors and Physical, and Security Compliance Requirements:
This position will have physical and logical access to highly confidential information and protected by HIPAA, CJIS, and other related Security regulations. The associate must pass the Company’s and, when required, customer-specific background check process. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
