Job Description
Boutique civil litigation firm, with offices in Dayton and Columbus, has an immediate opening for an attorney to assist with Civil Litigation. The position is based in the Columbus office and entails assisting in all phases of litigation from intake to trial. Candidates taking the July or February bar exam are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills/traits:
- Professional communication
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Proficient in legal research
- Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Highly organized, with an eye for detail
- Experience working on multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
- Experience or familiarity with foreclosure, consumer and contract law is a plus but not required
- Experience in both state and federal courts is a plus but not required.
- Willingness and flexibility to grow and adapt to firm needs
This is a full-time position. The preferred candidate must be able to work with some supervision from a Partner.

Pay: Starting at $75,000 - $85,000 salary, Willing to commensurate with additional experience
Schedule:
· Yearly billable hourly requirement
· Maintain reasonable office hours Monday through Friday
