Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create accurate pricing models.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions related to pricing and cost control.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presentations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, including changes and revisions.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Experience in cost control practices and pricing strategies within the construction industry.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $72,279.00 per year
