We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage phone calls, including reservations and inquiries, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold guest relations by providing personalized service and addressing any special requests.
- Assist in managing front desk operations during peak hours efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
- Experience in night audit procedures is a plus.
