SparkPoint (Sustainable Health for All), a Transylvania County-based nonprofit, is seeking a local, part-time Community Event Coordinator to help us bring people together through meaningful, well-executed events that reflect our mission: wellness rooted in connection. This in-person role (up to 20 hours per week) is ideal for someone with strong event coordination experience and a passion for community building.
The initial focus will be planning the Helene: One Year of Healing anniversary event this fall, along with other community engagement efforts. If it’s a strong mutual fit and the candidate holds the necessary skills, the position could grow into a grant writing and organizational development role, with the potential for full-time employment, benefits, and continued growth within the organization.
We’re looking for someone who’s organized, collaborative, and ready to grow with us as we work to build a healthier, more connected Transylvania County.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
