We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated Event Installer/ Production Team Member to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity and problem solving skills that is essential to bring designs to life.

99 Haus Balloons is Chicago’s premier balloon and event decor company, specializing in custom installations for luxury private events and top-tier corporate clients. Our team is known for its creative flair, attention to detail, and fast, efficient service. We pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable experiences and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities for Event Installer
- Load, transport, and set up balloons/decor at client locations (corporate events, private parties, brand activations, and more).
- Safely handle pre-inflated balloons/decor during deliveries using the company vehicle.
- Install arches, garlands, fringe, overhead, etc based on custom designs according to style guide lines and mood boards.
- Setup and work activation booths (ex: slime, charm bracelet, sand box, shrinky -dink).
- Setup and work snack carts (ex: popcorn and cottoncandy).
- Execute breakdown and removal of decor post-event.
- Handle all rental items with care.
- Interact with clients with top tier professionalism while representing 99 Haus Balloons.
Responsibilities for Production Team Member
- Stay ahead in your weekly workflow by consulting with a manager at the start of each week to identify which items need to be retrieved from the warehouse for painting.
- Prep rental and non rental items. (ex: foam boards, backdrops, carts, cake pedestals, etc. )
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain optimal operations by regularly discussing inventory needs with your manager. Focus on purchasing and restocking essential tools such as liners, brushes, paint, etc to ensure consistent quality and avoid workflow interruptions.
- Ensure all rental items are carefully inspected and promptly report any damages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse and shop.
- Assist with production tasks in the shop with a corresponding manager.
Requirements
- Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions.
- Timeliness
- Comfortable working on ladders.
- Lifting up to 10-50 lbs.
- Being on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided for deliveries and installs.)
- Experience in event setup, warehouse, or creative arts is a plus—but not required. We’ll train the right person!

Schedule
- Mornings, Evenings, Afternoons and Night shifts.
- Ideal work schedule: Wednesday - Sunday (subject to change)
- Weekend availability is an absolute must. (If you do not have weekend availability, your application will not be considered)
Pay
- Paid training.
- Starting pay at $18 an hour, performance based rasies.
- 90 day evaluation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
