Description
Provide an effective and high quality Exams service that puts the candidates at its heart, working as an integral member of the Exams team, across all functions of the assessment process to ensure that core services are delivered to the highest customer service standards, using data collection and amendment systems and procedures to ensure that all requests relating to qualifications are processed in an efficient manner, ensuring the timely review and processing of exam paperwork, along with supporting all activities related to examinations.This role is 18.5 hours a week and 52 weeks a year.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
The following is an indication of the type and level of the main priorities expected of this role as directed by Executive Director or Director of Service and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties or tasks: 1. Deal with day-to-day paperwork in the Exams Offices, advise Invigilators in their roles, assist Exams Officers on the preparation for large exam series, support the Exams Manager and Exams Compliance Officer in archiving procedures. This will include leading on queries to the Exams Team through the shared inbox.2. Provide advice and guidance to students regarding their assessments and course completions.
3. Assist the Exams Officers, Exams Compliance Officer and Exams Manager with the organisation and delivery of an effective examination service, supporting registrations, entries, claims, results and certification.
4. Process student data such as enrolments, withdrawals, transfers, change of details etc., in accordance with agreed processes and procedures.
5. Maintain an understanding of JCQ and awarding body rules and regulations to ensure that the assessment process is fair and compliant.
6. Advise teaching and support staff on the systems, processes and procedures related to student assessment, in order to support them in carrying out their role.
7. Process requests for student information and subject access requests in accordance with agreed data protection regulations and College policies.
