Job Overview
The Executive Director (ED) of Rogue Valley Timbers Soccer Club (RVTSC) leads the organization with integrity and vision, ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, and meaningful community impact. The ED champions RVTSC’s mission to deliver inclusive, high-quality soccer programming that fosters youth development and reflects the club’s core values: Accountability, Courage, Community, Respect, and Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the club’s long-term strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
- Represent RVTSC with professionalism and courage in the community and with regional/national soccer organizations.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, facilities, risk management, and compliance.
- Lead budgeting, financial reporting, and fundraising efforts to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Recruit, train, and support staff, coaches, and volunteers.
- Support the delivery of high-quality soccer programs across all levels.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in nonprofit management, business, or sports management preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in youth sports, nonprofits, or community-based organizations.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial management, fundraising, and strategic planning.
- Understanding of youth soccer structures and player development.
- Experience working with coaches, technical directors, and governing bodies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Certifications
- USSF Coaching License (C-level or higher or willingness to obtain).
- United Soccer Coaches certifications (e.g., Director of Coaching Diploma) preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
