Screen printing, embroidery & sign shop seeking an experienced embroidery machine operator.
Job Description:
Must be able to hoop various items for embroidery, load designs into machine, monitor each run for quality and accuracy. Unhoop, trim, cleanup, fold and pack items neatly into bag or box for customer.
Must have basic computer skills to update the embroidery department schedule and load designs onto jump drive and into embroidery machine.
Must be able to read work orders that will show brand, color, size, quantity, thread colors, artwork, etc for accuracy.
Must be able to keep embroidery files organized and document notes when needed.
Must be able to meet schedule deadlines.
Occasional troubleshooting of machine and designs is necessary.
Basic machine maintenance is necessary. (oiling, dusting, wiping machine clean)
Maintain inventory of thread, backing, bobbins and various other embroidery supplies.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift moderately heavy boxes and be able to endure the noise of the embroidery machines. (2 machines)
We work Monday through Friday. 8:30 to 5pm with occasional overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
