Position Overview
We’re hiring a reliable, skilled Handyman/Home Services Technician to perform a wide range of in-home tasks. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, good with tools, and comfortable working directly with clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble/disassemble furniture, including Sleep Number beds and gym equipment
- Hang TVs, artwork, mirrors, sconces, chandeliers, and curtains
- Install shelving and line shelves
- Provide basic home organization and support services
- Coordinate with contractors and assist with minor household projects
- Assist with moving-related services such as change-of-address paperwork and parking permit applications
- Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor in client homes
- Work collaboratively with the moving and home services team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in handyman, furniture assembly, or home service roles
- Proficient with tools, fasteners, wall anchors, and mounting systems
- Physically fit; able to lift heavy items and use ladders
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Preferred: Bonded and insured
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Experience in luxury homes or high-end service environments
- Familiarity with smart home systems or electronics
- Light electrical or plumbing experience a plus
