Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in doggy daycare, including plumbing.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with team to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Document completed work and report any additional repairs or maintenance needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Person or in a similar role with a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks.
- Carpentry experience necessary.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
