Badlands Tank Lines is seeking an exceptionally organized and self-motivated Parts Specialist to join a fast-paced working environment at our Casper, WY region.
This role will be responsible for managing inventory in the warehouse and maintaining daily records of parts received and ordered. The ideal candidate for this role is a diligent worker who can provide inventory reports to the management team as needed. #MHP
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and fulfillment of all order requests by company mechanics.
- Replenishment of typical replacement items to minimum stock levels.
- Assesses inventory reports and order patterns identifying frequent part trends.
- Actively seek competitive price quotes on parts from vendors.
- Create purchase orders as needed to provide to vendors.
- Maintains accurate daily records of parts received and order requests.
- Manages and maintains inventory system within the database.
- Conducts frequent audits of physical inventory.
- Receive, ship, and store parts as needed in accordance with DOT local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Travel between locations for part pick-up and drop off.
- Measure supplier performance by fulfilling orders.
- Follow-up on late order to determine delivery status.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, handle multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel to different company locations as needed.
- Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of current Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
- Knowledge of Fullbay systems a plus.
- Previous office and data entry experience.
- Current driver’s license and reliable form of transportation required.
