Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and service, with experience in the café or restaurant environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that our customers receive delicious meals in a timely manner. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies regarding food service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling or food service within a café or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations in a quick-service fast food restaurant is a plus.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety practices.
