Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager and sales professional to lead our team and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage store operations effectively. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including stock management and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members while providing ongoing training and development.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including administrative tasks such as scheduling and payroll management.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a related field with a strong focus on sales performance.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base.
- Strong team management abilities with a track record of successfully leading teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
- Ability to perform administrative duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in stock management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing situations in a busy retail environment.
- Must be minimum 21 years of age.
- Experienced in upselling.
