We’re on the hunt for a Retail Store Manager — someone with great energy, sharp instincts, and a deep love for pets and people. If you’re the type of person who can manage the day-to-day while still creating an awesome vibe for customers and staff, we want to meet you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Retail Store Manager, you’ll lead the front-of-house operations making sure the store runs smoothly, the team is thriving, and every customer leaves with a smile (and maybe a new toy or treat for their furry friend).
You will:
- Lead the crew: Oversee and support front desk staff and grooming appointments.
- Deliver excellent service: Greet and assist customers (both two- and four-legged) with product advice and friendly energy.
- Keep it organized: Manage inventory, merchandising, and restocking (including lifting pet food bags up to 50 lbs).
- Own the details: Book appointments on the CRM app, handle phone calls, run the register, and track daily sales goals.
- Set the tone: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and upbeat store environment.
- Support grooming operations: Collaborate with grooming staff to keep the schedule running efficiently.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven retail or pet industry experience (bonus if you’ve managed or led teams before!)
- Friendly, positive energy and strong leadership skills
- A love for animals and the people who care for them
- Tech-savvy with iPads, CRM systems, and point-of-sale tools
- A get-it-done attitude — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
