Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems, including Aloha and Micros.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials to assist guests with recommendations.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld throughout service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns.
- Handle cash and process payments efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficiency in POS systems, including Aloha and Micros
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in fine dining and culinary preparation is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
