We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and requests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills throughout service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special dietary requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including bussing tables after guests depart.
- Assist with host/host duties as needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists during peak hours.
Skills
- Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.59 - $27.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
