Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Experienced Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server or lead bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all aspects of service run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Buss tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Mixed drinks extensive knowledge
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with TOAST is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
