Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team in a fast-paced, guest-focused fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our guests through professional service, attention to detail, and confident hospitality. This role requires more than just taking orders—you’ll be expected to know the menu, understand wine and spirits, and deliver service that reflects the elevated standard of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with warmth and professionalism
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using a POS system
- Confidently describe menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens
- Study and retain evolving food, wine, beer, and cocktail menus
- Upsell wines, cocktails, and menu enhancements to elevate the guest experience and increase check averages
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely, polished manner while upholding presentation and etiquette standards
- Anticipate guest needs and handle special requests or concerns with poise and efficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, assist with bussing, and complete side work
- Accurately handle cash and credit transactions
Requirements
- Must have open availability Wednesday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays
- Must be coachable and willing to learn and retain detailed information about food, wine, liquor, and beer menus
- Must have a working knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and fine dining service etiquette
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred but not required—training available
- Positive attitude and a team-first mentality
