Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires effective communication skills and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. Food Runner/Expo is an hourly position plus tip out.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food service efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the Expo area.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and delivery.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests, enhancing the overall hospitality experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is highly desirable.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
