We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team at Pint and Jigger. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by communicating any special requests or modifications made by guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Help with food preparation as needed, including plating dishes and preparing garnishes.
- Support banquet operations by setting up and breaking down dining areas for events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
Compensation
- Receive tips from staff daily in addition to hourly wage.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
