We are currently seeking to employ a Facility Maintenance Technician in Hatfield, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in a food or beverage production facility and will have a positive "can-do" attitude. They must be extremely organized, manage their time efficiently, communicate professionally and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye to notice and address any potential PM opportunities before they develop into larger projects. Preferred candidates will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a facility maintenance technician.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience as a Maintainence Technician in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Experience diagnosing and servicing manufacturing and production equipment.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and plan. Takes ownership of the production facility
- Experience with many trades, including general repair & maintainence, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Strong ability to work autonomously without the need of supervision.
- Clean driving record and fork lift training a plus.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Maintenance of all equipment.
- Executing the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Manage relations with contractors and outside technicians to support the facility and equipment needs.
- Perform and document monthly building inspections as part of the Internal Audit Program, paying attention to details to identify necessary repairs (i.e.: addressing food safety).
- Report all facility issues that are not immediately repairable, establish work orders and complete.
- Develop a routine to ensure monitoring of problem areas.
- Repair and maintainence of all equipment including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, HVAC, etc.
- Prioritize safety and ensure a safe working environment for all of those inside of the facility.
- Strong understanding and adherence to GMP standards.
- Negotiate service contracts and repairs projects.
- Ensure all tools in facility are accounted for.
- Respond to emergency maintenance and repairs requested. Troubleshoot issues to determine case and solution.
- Keep Senior Management Team informed of any potential problems.
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Factor in time throughout each day/week to assist the Warehouse Manager in overall warehouse organization. This includes moving/relocating pallets, loading and unloading orders, etc.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
