Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support ongoing projects with a reputable manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this role will update, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and facilities to ensure they are in working order.
Pay: $27-$29/hr
Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance throughout the facility as required by business need and work orders, including preventative maintenance and various installations.
Understand and work with facility blueprints and sketches to complete assignments and troubleshooting
Complete regular documentation on work completed and in progress
Responsible for operating a wide variety of equipment with safety and precision
Assist other Facilities Technicians, as required, to complete customer requests and research for Facilities projects
Follow company-wide safety programs, 5S initiatives, and ISO procedures
Facilities Maintenance Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required; Associate’s degree is preferred
Minimum 3 years facility mechanical maintenance experience required
Good knowledge of building and equipment maintenance including mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulic, building equipment operation and maintenance
Basic understanding of building, environmental, and industry equipment regulatory codes and administration
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel
Strong mechanical skills including knowledge of and ability to use machine, hand, amp meters, DMM, and power tools
Benefits:

6-8 month duration with a possibility to become long-term for the right candidate
