Spanning 55+ years, Spahr’s Seafood has been a family-owned and operated, local seafood restaurant proudly serving regulars and visitors in South Louisiana! We strive to deliver delicious Cajun dishes and superior hospitality to our guests daily with the help of our dedicated and passionate team. We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to fill a Maintenance Assistant role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing various maintenance tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who is knowledgeable in facilities maintenance and has experience with electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of all facilities.
- Conduct residential painting and touch-ups as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in facility operations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
