We are looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of our building systems. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on HVAC units, VAVs, exhaust fans, heaters, and other mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair power systems, HVAC controls, and general mechanical equipment
- Conduct facility inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality
- Handle general maintenance duties including plumbing, carpentry, and lighting (e.g., bulb and ballast replacements)
- Move office furniture, machinery, or materials as needed
- Maintain accurate task logs and follow manager-assigned duties and daily checklists
- Coordinate with vendors for scheduled services and repairs
Top Technical Skills
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting
- Ability to follow structured task lists and complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude for working with building systems and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5–7 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Familiarity with tools, machines, and their maintenance
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- EPA Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $27.35 - $30.00 per hour
