Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess general maintenance skills and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various systems within the building.
Duties
- Perform routine general maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues or areas needing improvement.
- Respond timely to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Execute commercial painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Lawn maintenance of all facilities.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous, particularly in coordinating teams or contractors.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with facilities maintenance, including lifting equipment and outdoor maintenance as necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
