Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests.
- Provide treatment for common illnesses and injuries, including infection control measures.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, specimen collection processing, and ventilate patients as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate home care services for patients requiring additional support.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in healthcare practices relevant to senior care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices.
- Proficiency in medical imaging interpretation is preferred but not required.
- Experience in home care settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
