We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join a well-respected community health center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time, outpatient role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality primary care to underserved populations in Eastern Connecticut.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians delivering patient-centered care in a supportive environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Position Details:
- Location: Willimantic, CT
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (potential for flexible scheduling)
- Full-time: 40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients
- Perform histories, physical exams, and therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Educate patients on examination results and continuity of care
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified to see patients across the lifespan (preferred but not required)
- Experience in an outpatient primary care setting is preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
