Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Market Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the customer experience at our Farmers Markets. As a Market Associate, you will be responsible for transporting and setting up our farmers market booth equipment and products, engaging with customers, managing product displays, and ensuring a successful market. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service will contribute to the overall success of our market.
Duties
- Transport all farmers market booth materials and set them up in a timely manner
- Assist customers by providing information on products and services, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle cash transactions, utilize basic math skills for inventory management, including stock counts and retail math calculations.
- Implement upselling techniques to increase sales while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in cash handling is preferred.
- Basic math skills are essential for managing transactions and inventory.
- Previous experience in retail or a farmers market is a plus.
- Have a reliable car big enough to transport a canopy, 2 tables, and products
- Ability to lift 50lbs as necessary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
