We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods efficiently and safely.
- Operate box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively while maintaining punctuality.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Utilize a pallet jack for moving heavy items as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately
- Route driving and package delivery experience is REQUIRED.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in commercial driving and route driving is REQUIRED
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with using GPS devices and maps for navigation.
