Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site support and maintenance for various electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, be comfortable working in diverse environments, and have a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical components using tools such as voltmeters.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC systems and hydraulic machinery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
- Provide training to clients on the proper use of equipment as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with industrial mechanics, welding, electrical controls, and hydraulics is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A military background is a plus but not required.
