Description:
Oversee on site field operations. Ensure that field technicians are adhering to and following all OSHA safety guidelines and Guyou standards. Train and implement safety processes while holding all field technicians accountable. Resolve and address on site Customer escalations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and weekly field safety audits. Document and communicate results to management.
- Ensure all safety practices and policies are being followed.
- Stay current on new safety requirements. Document and communicate changes with management and field technicians.
- Provide oversight, leadership, and training to field technicians.
- Investigate and resolve on site customer concerns.
- Address field escalations and effectively communicate with Director of Operations and Construction Supervisors.
- Identify the root cause of escalations. Document and communicate cause to management.
- Review project progress and work quality with field technicians to ensure all deadlines and standards are met.
- Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of solar installation projects.
- Stay current on all B2B expectations.
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among field technicians.
- Foster open communication between field technicians and management.
- Participate in all safety meetings.
- Stay up to date on industry standards and new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can benefit the company.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Solar Construction or related experience
- Journeyman Electrician or licensed C10
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- LG and Tesla Battery Certification
- Enphase and SolarEdge Installation Certification
- Sharp analytical and problem -solving skills
- Good written, oral, interpersonal communication skills
- Software skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Maintain a continuous active plan and working cell phone
- Have and carry a valid driver’s license and to immediately notify supervisor if driver’s license is lost, expired, restricted, suspended or revoked for any reason whatsoever.
- Travel to and from job sites(mostly in southern California may change as company grows)
- Have Hand and (or) Power Tools needed to successfully resolve electrical, roofing, and general construction.
- Guyou Construction is a dynamic, production-based business that from time to time will require work to be completed on Saturday and/or Sunday. The leadership team will work to provide advanced notice to the extent possible to allow employees to make the needed arrangements. The expectation is that all employees work a minimum of (2) weekend days per month, as needed.

- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Not afraid of heights; be comfortable working on single story, two story, and three story roofs
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
- Manual dexterity required using hands to finger; handle, feel and type; reach with hands and arms
- Have the stamina to work long hours and overtime, if assigned; must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or varying shifts.
