Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Field Integration Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including telephone systems, internet networks, and other communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and networking devices.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications infrastructure, including telephone lines, internet cables, and related systems.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, outages, and equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct site surveys to assess optimal locations for telecommunications equipment installation.
- Accurately document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities and provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fellow technicians to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of telecommunication systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma, associate degree, or certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications systems, including knowledge of routers, switches, and networking devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical fitness and the capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field as required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.69 - $28.53 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
