Position Summary: As our Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on public company reporting, interact with our site controllers and group finance director, and have an impact on improving the reporting and decision making for a rapidly growing division of a multi-billion dollar public company. Winchester is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aptiv (NYSE: APTV) a global technology leader, with more than 180,000 people across 124 manufacturing facilities and 12 major technical centers worldwide. This position reports to the Director of Finance and will help to drive our team’s capabilities with respect to the use of technology in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ability to organize and summarize complex information to present to diverse business audiences
- Knowledge of financial accounting / GAAP
- Desire to work quickly to “get stuff done” and constantly improve
- Strong technical skills and curiosity with respect to the use of technology:
- Expert with Google Sheets/Excel
- SQL knowledge a big plus
- JavaScript experience a big plus

Are You Our Next ACE?
- Utilize technology to gather transactional data from disparate systems
- Reconcile data to the financials to ensure data integrity and value in decision making
- Interact with field teams to prepare and validate data driven forecast/budget models
- Assist with preparation, analysis, and accuracy of the monthly reporting package
- Preparation and ownership of key reports to group directors and VP
- Analyze data available to identify process improvement opportunities
- Explore business data and develop new analyses to drive better insight into customers, markets, and product trends
- Suggest changes to core tools and work with the Director of Finance and Group Controllers to implement them
- Request input from Controllers/Finance Director/VP as data is needed and question data inputs/results
- Analyze data that will help the business and present to management without prior solicitation
- Continually seek opportunities to improve business acumen and organizational knowledge
- Work as a partner to the business units to help them improve the timeliness and accuracy of their reported and forecasted results
