Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team. In this mid-level position, you’ll support Account Executives by preparing detailed sales estimates for commercial fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has 2–5 years of experience in fire protection estimating—ideally with a fire sprinkler contractor, general contractor, or an engineering firm involved in commercial construction.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple Account Executives on estimating tasks for commercial projects.
  • Perform accurate takeoffs and develop labor and material cost estimates based on blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Estimate costs for installation of wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated components.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 13 and relevant codes and standards.
  • Participate in design review meetings and pre-bid walkthroughs as needed.
  • Maintain organized documentation of estimates and project assumptions.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in estimating fire sprinkler systems for commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes, especially NFPA 13.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, and PDF markup tools.
  • Estimating software experience preferred (e.g., AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass background and driving record checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Posted Salary Range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Hr.
