We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of a multi-sport climate-controlled sports facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of essential supplies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning products and equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
