Front of House Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house staff, including servers, hosts and bussers
- Train and mentor front of house staff on customer service, menu knowledge, and proper serving techniques
- Ensure that all guests are greeted and seated promptly and that their dining experience meets or exceeds expectations
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and service flow
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front and back of house
- Manage inventory and supplies for the front of house, including ordering and restocking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and other furniture
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required - Experience in Catering Events Preferred
- Proficiency with POS system is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
- Experience interviewing, hiring, and training front of house staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
