Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and charismatic person to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting beverages (coffee / libations) as well as ice cream creations and maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to all health and safety regulations as well as setting the standard of professionalism for the rest of the front of house service staff to adhere to. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol consumption.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all customers.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food service or café settings is a plus but not required.

- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a hotel or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent shift management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
