Job Description: Flavor Test Principal will be responsible for developing new flavors for our flavor related products, providing feedback on existing flavors, and ensuring the successful development of new flavors through effective communication with relevant personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new flavor strategies for flavor related products such as electronic
- cigarette through market research.
- Provide recommendations and adjustments for existing product flavors.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure successful product development.
- Communicate abstract taste and sensory experiences clearly and effectively.
- Distinguish and describe flavor differences through various sensory methods, including
- tasting, smelling, and other sensory evaluations.
- Team management: Set clear goals and expectations for team members, monitor progress,
- and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Experience in flavor development for fragrances, flavorings, cosmetics, or products with
- significant market presence such as beverages, electronic cigarette and foods.
- Deep understanding of American local flavors, including an appreciation for food, beverage
- and other common tastes.
- Strong strategic thinking ability, with the capacity to analyze complex market environments
- and business challenges from a big-picture perspective, and develop and execute long-term strategies.
- Strong verbal communication skills, capable of articulating abstract tastes and sensory
- experiences.
- Excellent flavor discrimination abilities, capable of identifying and distinguishing product
- flavor differences through various sensory methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Capable of clearly articulating the strategic vision to teams and driving effective execution to align team goals with organizational strategy.
- Exceptional sensory perception, with a refined sense of taste and the ability to distinguish subtle flavor nuances.
- Proven track record of successful product development with positive market feedback.
