Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team at Landoll's Mohican Castle. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service, contributing to the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and accurately according to the order.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required.
Example Schedule (Busy Weekend):
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Note: Actual hours may vary based on business levels, but weekend availability is required.
